This beautiful and unique Anubias is a smaller sized variety. The leaves have a creamy white to delicate pale green color. New leaves may come out variegated depending on the aquarium circumstances. We have only started testing Anubias ‘Snow White’ under water recently so unfortunately we cannot tell you a lot about its behavior yet. We recommend the use of CO2, good light and a very complete fertilization routine. Due to the lack of chlorophyll in the white leaves this plant can not do photosynthesis very well which makes it a very slow grower. Anubias ‘Snow White’ grows best attached on wood or rocks. It doesn’t like its rhizome to be buried in soil. Once we have more knowledge of the development of this rarity inside the aquarium, we will surely update you.
